Vermont–Although we started May with rather hot (80’s) and dry weather for
us (0.4inches rain in 4 weeks), we’re now receiving record rainfall in some
areas of the state (4.5inches in 4 days at my trials with two days of rain
to go in this event) and cold– several days in the 40s with a couple nights
in the 30s and snow in the higher elevations–yes this is Memorial weekend.
So needless to say, these grasses are showing very little growth yet (an
inch or so can be seen on some), with winter survival data and growth
hopefully later in June.
