Data from Florida

I am happy to report that grasses were planted at four locations in Florida.  Starting in the North at Quincy to Tampa area (Balm) to Fort Pierce and then ending in Fort Lauderdale.  All plants were planted in June 2012.  All of the cutlivars were planted in Fort Lauderdale while only 12 (replicated trials) were planted at the other locations.  For our own curiosity we added two Florida ecotypes to trial –  Stuart and Miami.  In the link you will see the initial height and width of plants as well as our flower and plant ratings for the summer months in FL.
